xAI publishes six models and four of them share one rate: grok-4-3 and the three Grok 4.20 variants all bill $1.25 per million input tokens, $0.20 cached and $2.50 output across a 1,000,000-token window. The two exceptions sit either side. Grok 4.5 is the premium entry at $2 and $6, over a smaller 500,000-token window; Grok Build is the floor at $1 and $2 over 256,000 tokens. Output costs two to three times input across the range, and cached input runs from a fifth of the input rate down to about a seventh. One rule covers all six: past 200,000 input tokens, xAI's long-context rates bill the entire request.
