Count every token your local tools spend

Relay is a small local program that runs on your own computer. It reads the usage files that AI coding tools write locally, Claude Code and Codex among them, and sends the token counters to your TokenBinge account. Your totals stop depending on a single provider dashboard: every tool you use locally lands in the same figure, day by day, platform by platform, ready for your card and for the leaderboard.

Which tools Relay reads

Relay reads exact local counters from Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Qwen Code, OpenCode (its current SQLite database and historical JSON files), OpenClaw, Grok Build, Reasonix, Cline, Roo Code, Aider and Continue. Cline and Roo Code are also found inside Cursor, Windsurf and VSCodium. Relay does not claim native Cursor, Windsurf or GitHub Copilot totals without an exact local counter.

Where it runs

Relay supports Windows x64; macOS 12 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel; and 64-bit Linux on x86-64 and ARM64. Linux binaries are statically linked with musl and have no glibc dependency. The Windows download is signed. On macOS and Linux, one command downloads Relay, verifies its SHA-256 checksum, connects it to your account and installs it. The same account can use several computers, each with its own label.

Three steps to start

  1. Create a free TokenBinge account, by email or with your OpenAI sign-in.
  2. Download Relay from your account page and run it once on each computer you work from.
  3. Your totals appear on your dashboard within minutes, and your card becomes ready to publish and share.

What Relay sends

What leaves your computer is a short report: token counters by tool, model and day, plus limited technical metadata such as the tool name and the label you give the machine. Prompts, replies and conversation content are not part of that report. TokenBinge stores the counters and the labels; nothing becomes public until you publish a card or opt in to the leaderboard.

Every Relay release publishes SHA-256 checksums, signed provenance, a software bill of materials and platform signing or notarization evidence, so you can verify the exact binary you run.
