DeepSeek API pricing

DeepSeek publishes two API models that differ by price alone: both list a 1M-token context window and the same reasoning, tool-calling, structured-output and fill-in-the-middle support, with the upper tier tripling the lower one's input and output rates. Entry is $0.44 per million input tokens and $1.32 output; the step up costs $1.32 and $3.96. Two billing details set the provider apart from the rest of this table: cache hits drop to $0.014 and $0.044 respectively, near a thirtieth of the miss rate where most providers stop at a tenth, and every published rate halves off-peak, outside the 01:00-04:00 and 06:00-10:00 UTC windows.
