Cheapest Anthropic entry in the table: claude-haiku-4-5 at $1 per million input tokens, $0.10 for cached input and $5 for output, a fifth of Opus 5 at $5 / $25 and a tenth of the $10 / $50 charged by Fable 5 and Mythos 5. The context window is the same 1M tokens, and the feature list — reasoning, tool use, prompt caching — matches the larger models exactly. Its real neighbour is Sonnet 5 at $2 / $10 under an introductory rate: half the cost until 31 August 2026, a third once that becomes $3 / $15. Note also the generation gap, since this is the only 4.5-series model among four 5-series ones, and validate output quality on your own workload.
